What We Do
DV8 Technologies works at the intersections — where a business process meets an API, a server needs to become a service, or a useful idea needs a small piece of software instead of another subscription.
Automation & integration
We connect systems and remove repetitive work. That can include APIs, webhooks, email, calendars, files, databases, business applications and purpose-built workflows.
The goal is not automation for its own sake. A good workflow should be observable, recoverable and understandable when something goes wrong.
Custom software
Sometimes the best tool is the one that does exactly what you need and very little else. We build focused web and mobile applications, internal utilities and operational interfaces around a specific workflow.
We prefer simple interfaces, clear ownership of data and systems that can evolve without a full rewrite every time the process changes.
Infrastructure & self-hosting
We design and operate practical infrastructure using virtualization, containers, networking, storage, monitoring, reverse proxies, secure remote access and managed services.
Self-hosting is not automatically better. We use it when control, integration, privacy, cost or flexibility justify the operational responsibility that comes with it.
AI with useful boundaries
AI becomes much more valuable when it can work with the systems around it — and much safer when those capabilities are narrow, explicit and auditable.
We build AI-assisted workflows around scoped tools, validation, pre-flight checks, structured results, approval points and logs. The objective is dependable assistance, not an unrestricted shell with a personality.
Web systems
We build sites and web applications as part of the larger system: content management, forms, APIs, automation, authentication and operational tooling can all live behind the same clean public experience.
How we approach a project
- Understand the real workflow before choosing technology.
- Keep the architecture as simple as the problem allows.
- Automate repeatable work and expose the important state.
- Protect secrets, permissions and destructive actions by design.
- Leave the system easier to understand than we found it.
